I offer one-on-one and small group Pilates based sessions in San Diego, CA.
The studio includes a reformer, Exo chair, springboard, suspension trainer (TRX), and other various props/weights.
Pilates, originally known as Contrology, is a low-impact form of exercise that can help you build strength, flexibility, and mobility. The foundations include intentional breath, cultivating a strong mind/body connection, and controlled flow of movement. Trainers may incorporate other fitness modalities depending on client needs.
Each 50 minute session is tailored to the individual client and their goals/abilities.
As time progresses, so do the exercises and level of difficulty.
Clients always ask, "Isn't this supposed to get easier?" and I always reply, "It doesn't get easier, but you get stronger."
