When I started my Pilates journey I was so nervous. I was fearful of being judged and unable to succeed. I made the decision to reach out to Ashley when I was ready to dive in deeper to the Pilates world. At the first session, we discussed my experience with exercise, created goals and discussed what I wanted to get out of private sessions. From that first day Ashley made me feel so comfortable and excited about Pilates. I have gained strength, muscles & abilities I didn't know I had. Taking Ashley’s group classes introduced me to her wonderful energy. The cues she uses during the exercises take her classes to another level. She connects to her students at a high level of energy that not only provides a great physical workout, but a feeling of spiritual growth as well. Her sessions/classes are never the same. In group classes she brings variety so that everyone can grow. In private lessons she focuses on the areas that I personally need to work on including strength, length and stability.
I have a limitation with my shoulder, so I decided to try private lessons with her. WOW! what a difference she has made for me. She has taught me many variations/modifications that allow me to continue to grow and succeed even with my limitations. I love the different ways that she reminds me what muscles I should be using. I can take what I learn in private sessions back to group classes as well. I look forward to continued work and growth with her both in private and group classes.
