Mat Pilates meets the suspension trainer. Rebecca Beckler, the creator of PSM, is a genius in my humble opinion. She uses a set of straps and body weight to mimic exercises from classic Pilates apparatuses like the reformer, chair, and springboard.
PSM is appropriate for all levels, even beginners. If you’re looking for an effective yet minimal style of Pilates, PSM is for you. You can take the straps on-the-go when you travel or use them at home or outdoors. This makes your workout accessible even when you can’t get to the studio.

OUR SESSIONS
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each session will be 1:1 with Ashley who will personalize sessions to meet your needs and goals. At the initial session you’ll review a health history questionnaire and address any fitness/wellness milestones you’d like to reach, so we can keep your body healthy and your mind on track to achieve every milestone we set.
Lessons are 1 hour beginning with a warm-up followed by a full body workout which includes lengthening, strengthening, and functional fitness. Ashley teaches a contemporary style of Pilates with a sprinkle of athleticism. That means you’ll improve your endurance in addition to burning a few (ok, probably more than a few) extra calories. If you like to learn, you’re in for a treat because Ashley loves to teach. You’ll get to know your own body better than ever and learn something about anatomy, astrology, ancestry, or whatever else the topic of the day might be.
We may incorporate small props into your routine, depending on your personalized workout plan. Please let Ashley know if you have any favorite exercises. You should enjoy your workouts even if they do feel challenging.
